The Biomedical Career Pathways Program has been established in partnership with the Rutgers University School of Health Science Careers. The program offers a two-year sequence of health science classes that enables students to earn college credits while still in high school. For several students, this program will help answer the question, "What do I want to do when I graduate? (What comes next?)"
This program prepares Juniors and Seniors for a career in the health field as part of their regular high school day. It bridges the gap between high school and college and prepares students for multiple health careers through a core curriculum emphasizing science, communication, and the human and organizational sides of the health care field. Students follow Rutgers’ curriculum and take final assessments that are administered by Rutgers. Upon graduation, students are eligible to earn up to 14 Rutgers credits, depending on the courses they have selected.
