Accuplacer Academy

The State of New Jersey published graduation requirements that apply to your student’s graduating class of 2018. Students are required to demonstrate a minimum proficiency level on one of a variety of tests, including but not limited to: the Accuplacer WritePlacer, Accuplacer Elementary Algebra, PSAT, and SAT, just to name a few.

The specific details of the testing requirements can be found at the link below:

NJ HS Graduation Testing Requirements

Students can access a review guide from the College Board at the following link: Accuplacer Review Guide.

The results for the Accuplacer in most cases are instantaneous, so the student will know if he or she has not achieved the necessary score. If this happens, we will require that the student registers on the spot for a summer tutoring program. We will offer two one-week sessions in both Accuplacer WritePlacer and Accuplacer Elementary Algebra: August 14th through August 17th, Monday through Thursday, and August 21st through August 24th, Monday through Thursday.  Classes will be held at Piscataway High School from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 10:35 AM to 12:05 AM.  Please keep in mind that some students will be able to take the Accuplacer before the end of the two-week session, and if a student passes the assessment at that time he/she would not attend the program after that.  Seating will be limited in this program.  Please click on the link below to sign up for your son’s/daughter’s two-week session.  If your son or daughter needs both mathematics and language arts you will sign up for a math and a language arts session at this link:
