Pway-TV Film Festival Students in the broadcasting department go above and beyond all year long in servicing the high school community by recording and editing events and producing "Life in Black and Gold".  These short films are creative outlets which showcase their talents, passion and skills.  This has been our best year yet, as four different short films have been recognized in competitions!

  • "Aphonia" directed by Audrey Visscher was a finalist in the Ten-Day film Challenge which means that film was one of the top 30 out of about 180 in New Jersey.  "Aphonia" also won first place in NJ in the Ten-Day Film Challenge for the opening credit sequence
  • "Broken: The Musical," which was directed by Reese Garcia and features Michael Dickinson, won FIRST PLACE in the music video category in the Creskill NJHS Film Festival 
  • "Broken:  Friends," which was directed by Jenna McKim and stars Robby Armas and Lea Rafisura, was a finalist in the NJHS Five-Day Film Challenge which means it was one of the top 20 out of 135 submitted films.  Lea Rafisura won the prestigious award for BEST ACTRESS in the Five-Day Film Challenge for her role in "Broken: Friends"‚Äč

  • "The Lost Mission Imboxible:Episode IV"  -  Ten Day Film Challenge: State finalist (top 30/180)
  • "Broken: Lockdown," which was directed by Danny Allen, was also chosen as a finalist in the Five-Day Film Challenge, one of the top 20 out of 135.  

  • "Out of Sight"    - Ten Day Film Challenge:    State Finalist (top 30/180)
