Mental Health Resources

This Mental Health Resources page provides PWAY families with:

1) Important Hotline/Helpline #s for PWAY students/families who are in crisis and need of help

2) Step-by-Step instructions to follow in order to find a therapist for your child

3) The Mental Health Services folder contains:

  1. Definitions of various levels of mental health care, in order to help you understand the difference between the terms: outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient, and be better able to determine what level of care/support may be best for your child.
  2. A list of various therapy centers as well as individual therapists (psychologists), referred to as "outpatient providers", if you would like to seek mental health services/therapy for your child outside of the Haven.
  3. A list of therapy centers that provide more intensive services for your child in case he/she/they needs a higher level of support (i.e. intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient services)

4) Specialized Services provides you with helpful links regarding various topics (i.e. grief/loss, divorce, ADHD, LGBTQ+ resources, etc.)

We hope all these resources can be helpful for our PWAY families!
