Congratulations to the Piscataway High School Key Club for winning several awards at the recent NJ Key Club District Education Conference! Junior Tanya Melkote won 1st Place for Advocacy, 3rd Place for Best Club Recruitment Video, and 3rd Place for Philanthropic Signature Project. Junior Evan Luper won 2nd Place for Best Club Website. Past advisor Laura Leibowitz, who retired in 2024, won the Key of Honor, the highest recognition an adult can receive in Key Club, for her 35 years of service and exceptional support for Key Club. The conference was held April 3-5 in Asbury Park and hosted over 350 members. Contests are held as a way for clubs to gain recognition for their service to the community, fundraising, and creativity.
