Congratulations to Piscataway High School Class of 2024 graduate Raahim Hashmi, right, who was part of the winning team in at the 2025 Sanford Cyber Cup at Duke University! In the competition, Duke students had one day to brief the National Security Council in a high-stakes simulation of hackers targeting America’s farms and ports. Hosted by the Duke Sanford Tech Policy Program and the Duke Cyber student group, the interdisciplinary competition asked student teams to weigh technical evidence, assess domestic risks, anticipate global consequences, and deliver actionable policy recommendations to a panel of judges.
