Congratulations to the Piscataway High School production of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” for receiving honors from the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards and the Central Jersey Marquee Awards! Rising Star nominations include Andrea Ladia for Outstanding Performance by a Featured Ensemble Member and the Pure Imagination Art Contest for Educational Impact Award. Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards are the pinnacle of high school musical theatre honors. PHS also received a Marquee Award nomination in Student Dedication and Excellence for student choreographer Julia Hubbard, and an Honorable Mention for Best Lead Actor for Jackson Bartle.
