Piscataway High School students recently got an opportunity to delve into the world of neurosurgery! Students in the PHS Science Department took part in an extraordinary Surgical Insights experience on Wednesday, Dec. 3, hosted in partnership with Liberty Science Center. Through a live stream from one of LSC’s partner hospitals, students watched a real neurosurgical procedure and engaged in an interactive Q&A with the “Live from Surgery” educators. Students explored the science, technique, and decision-making behind neurosurgery – asking thoughtful questions and gaining a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the medical field.
