Three of our Piscataway High School musicians were selected and performed with the Central Jersey Music Educators Association Region HS Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonic Orchestra on Sunday, Jan. 11! Freshman Ethan Vito (violin), senior Mikhial Veras (bass), and senior AJ Parache (percussion) competitively auditioned with students from across New Jersey to be accepted to these prestigious ensembles. Mikhial placed second in his section! Students performed challenging repertoire under the direction of Dr. David Zhang and Paul Bryan at Monroe High School. Thank you to PHS instrumental music teacher Dr. Christopher Sumner for sponsoring these students and volunteering his time.
