A group of scholars from the Piscataway High School National Honor Society spent the first day of their Spring Break giving back to their community by cleaning up Byrne Park in Piscataway.

Volunteers spent the afternoon of April 3 collecting litter and tidying up the park, and were able to collect over 4 bags worth of trash.
Organized by Park Clean-up Committee Chair Vidushi Jain, this initiative is part of a broader commitment to service. The Honor Society plans to host additional park cleanups throughout the remainder of the school year, dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.

NHS is guided by adviser Holly Cregar-Porch.
