Piscataway High School’s 14th annual Mission: Life charity basketball game was a huge success, bringing the school community together for a powerful cause and raising over $4,200 for the Embrace Kids Foundation!
Piscataway High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter hosted the exciting tradition on Friday, April 17, with PHS students and staff facing off for the trophy.
The PHS staff team once again defeated the students in a hard-fought 58-53 game, but the real winner was the Embrace Kids Foundation. This remarkable nonprofit provides vital emotional, financial, and educational assistance to children facing cancer, blood disorders, and other serious health challenges, as well as their families.
Piscataway FBLA members showed unwavering dedication to the Mission: Life cause, organizing the event from start to finish. Its success illustrates the strength of their commitment and the importance of teamwork.
Student volunteers decorated the hallway leading to the Anthony Gym with balloons and streamers, ushered guests into the building, managed concessions, and even gave game commentary to engage the crowd.
