Student volunteers worked with community advocates to host a voter registration drive at Piscataway High School that registered 85 students!

The Piscataway High School Social Studies Department and the Rho Kappa social studies honor society partnered with the League of Women Voters of Greater New Brunswick and the National Association of University Women to host the annual spring event on Friday, April 24.

PHS registered 85 students during the spring, which combined with 30 registrations from the fall drive to set a new record of 115 new voters, a 41% increase from last year.

The event also tested students' knowledge of civics and educated future voters. PHS is proud to prepare future voters to participate in the democratic process, empowering the next generation to shape their communities, country, and the world.
