SADD safe-driving campaign wins $1,000 in statewide contest

Congratulations to the Piscataway High School Students Against Destructive Decisions for winning 1st Runner Up in the statewide You Got Brains Champion Driving Schools competition!
 
PHS SADD won a prize of $1,000 while competing among 60 schools from around the state. The objective of the club’s yearlong project was to decrease teen speeding through a wide range of outreach efforts, including a continued partnership with Piscataway Township Police Department and consistent engagement in school activities.
 
The competition is sponsored by the Brain Injury Alliance of NJ, and honors were awarded during a visit to Six Flags Great Adventures on Thursday, May 28. See the video the SADD club created and submitted to the competition.
